Po ročnej prestávke dvaja nadšenci, spolu so všetkými dobrovoľníkmi, urobili festival kávy v Bratislave v hoteli Sheraton (kde sa konal aj nultý ročník).
My sme mali tento rok premiéru a veľmi nás to bavilo. Pracovali sme samozrejme s našou kávou 9 Grams Coffee, kde okrem Mateja z nášho teamu, nám veľmi pomáhali a pripravovali pre Vás kávu, Veronika Cíferská a Adrián Krišák. Za toto im veľmi ďakujeme.
Hlavnou ideou festivalu, bolo priblížiť ľudom slovenské, české ako aj zopár zahraničných pražiarní kávy.
Festival trval 2 dni, kde boli pripravené štyri espresso bary s rôznymi modelmi kávovarov od firmy La Marzocco. V strede haly dominoval brew bar so všetkými možnými spôsobmi prípravy kávy alternatívnym spôsobom (Hario, Chemex, Aeropress…). Súčasťou bol aj shop, kde ste si mohli zakúpiť kávy, ktoré Vám chutili alebo nejaké tie “coffee tools”.
V spodnej časti – lobby bare bol syphon bar a taktiež sa konal cupping rôznych káv. Celý festival doprevádzali prednášky ľudí z fachu, na jednej som sa zúčastnil a bola veľmi príjemná, dobre prezentovaná. Bola orientovaná na bežných spotrebiteľov a priblíženie fungovania časti kávového sveta.
Moje osobné pocity z celej akcie boli veľmi pozitívne. Okrem toho, že sme sa mohli odprezentovať, stretol som veľa priateľov a spoznal nové tváre, ktoré určite o nejaký krátky čas budú “mútiť” kávu na Slovensku (myslené pozitívne, samozrejme). Celé 2 dni sa dali prekecať o káve. Neviem si predstaviť nič krajšie.
Okrem iného ma zaujal aj stánok Viktora, kde prezentoval, ako na praženie kávy v domácich podmienkach. Pri samotnom výklade som nebol, ale keď sme sa spolu rozprávali, naznačil niečo v hrubých kontúrach a bolo to zaujímavé. Určite o tom napíše článok na svojom blogu delikatesy.sk
Celý event doprevádzal Latte Art Jam a 1. slovenská súťaž Aeropress.
Ak ste tento rok váhali, či sa oplatí prísť a neprišli ste, verte, že ste urobili chybu. Určite si budúci ročník nenechajte ujsť.
ZÁVER
Vďaka veľkému úsiliu Petra Hadzuša a Michala Molčana, dopadol festival kávy v našich očiach nesmierne pozitívne. A ak budeme mať príležitosť zúčastniť sa na budúcom ročníku, určite neodmietneme.
